Leaf-Stone Syrah vs. the World Results!
Those of you who joined us for our blind Syrah tasting know, we could not have had a more enjoyable time!  Sitting outside in the sun, sipping unique wines from around the globe, and participating in a very “wine-geeky” discussion about when, how, and where each wine was created, and how their cultivation affected the finished wines.

Black Ankle Vineyards' 2007 Crumbling Rock wins the 2009 Governor's Cup
We are delighted to announce that our 2007 Crumbling Rock  has followed in the footsteps of its predecessor, our 2006 Crumbling Rock,   and been awarded the top spot in the Maryland Governor's Cup competition.  We are thrilled that our second vintage has been awarded this great honor!  Click here to see more awards we have won.



Black Ankle Vineyards' 2007 Leaf-Stone Syrah named Best Syrah in the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition
Our 2007 Leaf-Stone Syrah was awarded top honors for Syrahs in this prestigious wine competition.  We think there may be a little sibling rivalry going on with the 2007 Crumbling Rock.  Come try them both and pick your favorite!
